Hotelnya sederhana tapi hangat. Bukan tipe yg wah gt, mungkin tergantung tipe kamar sih ya. Tapi overall aku suka ambience hotel ini, bagi yg mau istirahat atau berkumpul bersama keluarga utk acara di sekitaran daerah perintis kemerdekaan yg dekat dgn pusat kota, ini sangat ku rekomendasikan. Bukan hotel yg mengutamakan pemandangan, tapi kehangatan

Grand Sakura 4*Hotel is conveniently located near Medan Centerpoint and Railway Train Station. Excellent facilities such as 2 restaurants, services booking counter, tidbits selling counter, 2 elevators lift and a team of friendly concierge staffs dressed in Indonesian Batik uniform. Buffet breakfast (7-10am) offered good Nasi Lemak and noodles. Do try the plain tea with sugar after a spicy meal to reset the palate. Decent standard room comes with fridge, safe etc. However, an unconnected WIFI as a results I had to use my 4G data mobile hotspot for my laptop and the room power socket points are few. Nearby spot a crowded and delicious eateries outlet (KUPI) runs by BAI Train where you can try Indonesian foods, DimSum and Western. Do make order payment at the centre counter before proceeding to inform stalls. I did it with Google Translate App. (Eng to Indo) Pics also shown my preferred room drink and biscuits available at Medan supermarket.

De receptie medewerker was vriendelijk. Ik had kamer type de luxe geboekt voor twee nachten. De kamer was heel erg vies. De vloeren, de tafels, de rand van de bedden waren stoffig. De kop van de douch was kapot. De kamer was stinkt en muf. De team leider van de ontbijt restaurant was niet vriendelijk. Toen ik een verse melk vroeg vertelde ze mij dat ze geen melk hebben, maar een blanke toeristen die tegenover onze tafel zat hadden wel verse koude melk gekregen. Toen ik haar confronteerde waarom de blanke toeristen wel de melk krijgt en ik niet??? Zij geeft geen antwoord op mijn vraag, uiteindelijk krijg ik een glas warme condens melk in plaats van verse melk. Overal geef ik het hotel cijfers 2
